Autumn Notes
This piece found its way to a Queensland art teacher who has been following my work for years. Her message made my day: "I am a huge fan and I am thrilled to now be able to say that I have one of your pieces. I am an art teacher and have featured you in our artist exploration lessons at my school." Thank you Sarah, B x A deep, dramatic palette of burgundy, dusty mauve, and plum forms the brooding backdrop, warmed by gold, ochre, and raw umber botanical forms. Vivid blush pink punctuates the composition with energy, while black linework and charcoal shadows add depth and structure. White and cream accents bring delicate contrast throughout.
